Villa Paradiso is owned by an established Jewish family whose ancestors first arrived on the island in the 17th century. Anthony Alberga, together with his late sister, Dr Marilyn Delavante, ז״ל, wrote ‘The Island of One People: An Account of the History of the Jews of Jamaica׳, an account of the history of the Jews of Jamaica, and was involved in the founding of the Jewish day school, Hillel Academy in Kingston, which is still a highly regarded school today.
Health and wellness are integral to a stay at Villa Paradiso. Female only retreats can be arranged with female yoga teachers, masseuses and personal trainers.
